The Medical Logistics Clerk plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the hospital’s supply chain. This position is responsible for receiving and distributing medical supplies and equipment, stocking items in designated locations, and ensuring timely replenishment of products. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting where their work directly supports clinical teams and patient care.

Starting Pay: $19/hour
Schedule:

  • 1st Schedule Option: Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 
  • 2nd Schedule Option: Wednesday through Friday 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  plus Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Essential Functions and Duties: 

  • Receive incoming medical supplies and materials, verifying accuracy and condition of shipments
  • Accurately pick and distribute items to designated departments throughout the facility
  • Stock inventory in correct storage locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization
  • Replenish supplies at point-of-use areas to maintain consistent availability for clinical staff
  • Enter patient charge information as directed, ensuring accurate and timely billing data


Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with customers
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Warehouse/stocking/inventory experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to initiate and finalize data entry of supplies
  • Knowledgeable with the MS-Office products
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing carts up to 80 lbs, and regularly standing, walking (up to 10,000 steps per day), kneeling, and sitting for extended periods
  • Ability to pass background and drug screenings
