In this role, you will be responsible for performing bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce high-quality instruments used in various applications. You will operate grinders and sharpening machines to precisely sharpen steel tips according to design specifications.

  • Starting wage: $17 to $18/hour, depending on experience
  • Schedule:
    • Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (5- 8s)
    • Tuesday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (4-10s)

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Perform bench or line assembly operations to mass produce instruments to be used by hand
  • Use grinder and/or sharpening machine to sharpen steel tips to specific design specifications
  • Meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards
  • Learn instruments and related product lines
  • Learn and apply quality processes and procedures
  • Become familiar with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 months of similar job experience is a plus
  • Math and reasoning skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination and good manual dexterity
  • Team player and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work under deadlines
