Position Overview

MoFi is seeking a Development Manager to support and expand our fundraising efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, analytical, and highly organized, with a strong ability to manage data, research, and donor relationships. The Development Manager will play a key role in donor research, grant writing, stewardship logistics, and database management.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy and Research

  • Assist in developing and refining MoFi’s overall fundraising strategy
  • Conduct prospect research on individuals, corporations, and foundations to identify funding opportunities
  • Support leadership and the broader team in crafting tailored fundraising approaches for different donor segments

Grant Writing and Fundraising Support

  • Assist in grant writing and proposal development, ensuring alignment with MoFi’s mission and funding priorities
  • Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and submission logistics

Stewardship and Donor Engagement

  • Manage donor stewardship logistics, including scheduling meetings, sending acknowledgments, and coordinating engagement activities
  • Oversee MoFi’s thank-you system to ensure timely and meaningful donor recognition

Data and Systems Management

  • Maintain and manage MoFi’s fundraising database (Salesforce), ensuring accuracy and generating reports to inform strategy
  • Track donor trends and fundraising performance to support data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor research, or related fields
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent writing and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION
Salary is $ 100,000 - $160,000.
