We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Specialist to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, tackling tasks with precision, and keeping things running smoothly. It offers a steady set schedule, 2 days off in a row every week, absolutely no holidays, and guilt-free time off. 


Essential Job Duties:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash, cardboard, and recycling into dumpsters and cardboard compactor.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, squeegees, and other window cleaning equipment.
• Clean and dust, furniture, walls, ceilings, vents, machines, and equipment.
• Prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean, shampoo, or extract carpets.
• Move conference room, office furniture, and equipment.

Physical Demands: 

• Work heights range from floor to overhead height.
• Can push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds. Two people work together to lift over 60 pounds.

 
Preferred Qualifications:  

• Three (3) year of experience in directly related cleaning experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Some supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to supervise other custodians; provide meaningful evaluations; provide training where appropriate; operate specialized equipment; maintain appropriate records; and develop and obtain specialized custodial knowledge.
