Parent/Family Educator

The Parenting Place is a community-based, non-profit organization whose mission is the prevention of child abuse and neglect through strengthening families since 1981. Our goals are to help families develop healthy parent-child relationships, to improve the futures of our children and ensure healthy families in our community.

The parent/family educator facilitates parent education classes and provides home visiting services to at-risk families.  Services are provided to families in a variety of settings, including the Missoula Pre-Release Center and Missoula Detention Center.  Parent/Family Educators also coordinate services with community agencies, assist with community outreach and presentations and complete other administrative duties as required.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Human Services or related field is required.
